    Concrete Barriers Hire Sydney

    Features

The Deltabloc DB80 is an F-shape steel-reinforced MASH approved concrete barrier. With the patented Deltabloc coupling system, the DB80 allows a slight tilting of the impact energy in case of a heavy impact. Elastomer bearings between the single barriers ensure controlled damping of peak loads. This guarantees reliable breakthrough prevention for heavy vehicles and soft impact behaviour for small cars.

Approved for road use up to 100km/hr in NSW and VIC and 80km/hr in QLD and WA, the Deltabloc DB80 concrete jersey barrier can reduce the risk of a head-on collision as a result of an out of control vehicle crossing over the median strip into oncoming traffic.

    Fully approved road barrier

The DB80 Deltabloc jersey barriers are MASH Tested to TL-3, and are approved for use by Austroads on roads up to 100km/hr. Additionally, the DB80 is approved by NSW RMS, QLD Main Roads, VicRoads and WA Main Roads.

In New Zealand, the DB80 has recently been added to NZTA Specification M23 as a CoPTTM approved temporary road safety barrier system.

    MASH and NCHRP350 Tested

The Deltabloc DB80 units are demonstrated to meet the requirements of MASH test level TL-3. This means a 2270kg Ute travelling at 100km/hr impacting the barrier at an angle of 25 degrees achieves a dynamic deflection of 1.44 metres. Deltabloc technology has been optimised in more than 130 full-scale crash tests, allowing Deltabloc DB80 barriers to deliver the best impact severity results available.

Easy to transport, install and dismantle

The DB80 is characterised by a highly efficient coupling method without any screws, plus it also has patented damping devices at the element joints. As a fully approved road barrier, the Deltabloc DB80 is surprisingly lightweight at only 520kg per metre. This means it is easy and efficient to transport and install without compromising on quality or safety. The jersey shaped design keeps the barrier weighed down to allow fast truck mounted crane installation. The distinctive coupling allows for easy assembly and disassembly on site.

    Options for any site

Deltabloc DB80 concrete crash barriers are available in 2 metre, 4 metre or 6 metre lengths. With the addition of accessories such as strong steel mesh fence panels and printed fence fabric, they can be transformed into a site hoarding barrier that provides safety, privacy and branding.
